There were some not-so-fun moments over this past year with them. First, I had to have some bands fixed only a week after I had them on. I have never felt so much intense pain in my life. The staff all remember me telling them that it was absolutely worse than childbirth! I'm not kidding...it was! I was crying so bad at each little snap of the bands on all 32 teeth! I also had turbos on, mounted behind my top centrals, making it impossible for several months for me to eat anything besides soups and smoothies. They were miserable, but I learned to eat with them eventually. I had a double wire on the bottom...not normal and very awkward. And of course it seems like I constantly had canker sores, making it miserable to talk at times.
But after all that, I am soooo happy with how my teeth have turned out and especially how quick it all happened!
Before... This is the best picture I have, but it doesn't show the bottom which had more severe problems. Not so cute!

Just after I had them put on...
And After...
Did I mention for the last 7 months we have been travelling 5 hours back to Cedar City for all my adjustments?! One more very big reason why I am sooo glad they are off. Now I just wish it was easy to floss with the permanent retainers. Oh well!

Wow! Your new smile is bea-u-ti-ful! Congrats! And good luck with the flossing. It's such a pain in the butt isn't it!? I hate it. The things we do for strait teeth :)
Your teeth look great!! Congrats!
AMazing... it almost makes me want to get braces again ... almost. :-)
Pretty!! You'll still have checkups in Cedar though, right!? :)
