Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year.  The kids were more excited than ever before.  Each morning, starting after Thanksgiving, Collin would wake up in the morning, come into my room and the very first words out of his mouth, while I'm laying in bed still half asleep, were exclaimed to me, "Mom, only 25 days until Christmas!", and then "Mom, only 24 more days until Christmas", etc. He kept very good track of that magical day.

Mackenzie thought for sure she was going to catch Santa Claus this year in her house, but he out-smarted her again and she didn't get her chance to see him.  And he really surprised her Christmas morning!  The kids woke up and came to our room.  They got us up, but I was a bit slow to roll out of bed that morning for some crazy reason. So we told the kids to give us a minute and just hang out in our room until we got ourselves put together.  Mackenzie couldn't stand the wait and snuck in the living room to see the load that Santa had dropped off.  She quickly came back to me, "Mom, you are never going to believe this!  There...is...a...piano...in...the...living....room!  Really Mom, I'm not kidding!  Really, he brought us a piano!  I didn't look at anything else, I promise, but I saw a piano!"  Loved it!

We all had a great Christmas and everyone plenty of things from their wish list...and more for sure.  It was a magical Christmas with white snow and kids as giddy as ever.  I wish I could just freeze my kids at this age right now and just enjoy these fun moments forever!

They delivered Christmas Eve and we put it in the guest bathroom and Santa Claus moved it that night. Its a a fancy digital keyboard, so its light. :)
